18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines. This is a Friday blog hop with the objective to find and visit other book blogs that share the same interest as you, namely books geared towards the 18 & over crowd, and make some new friends!
This Week's Question:
What were some of your favorite reads in April?
What were some of your favorite reads in April?
Life has been super busy the months of April and May, as is usual for a teacher. Between state testing being over, the return from spring break, and preparing for the end of the year, life gets a little crazy. So I get it all mixed up a little in my head. I only read 3 books during the month of April, but even if I had read more, these would still be my favorites...
1. Soul Mates: This duet of yummy short stories (Wolf Pack by Ashley Nemer and Souls Caught Fire by L. S. Broomfield) is in the process of being published. Both short stories are amazing paranormal reads. You can enter to win an ARC copy of Soul Mates in the Caliente Blog Hop here on Reading Lark After Dark and also on L.S.'s blog.
2. Blood Yellow: This is the 2nd book in Ashley Nemer's Blood Series.
It's in the process of being published also, and it's an emotional roller coaster ride. Where the first book, Blood Purple, was action packed and set the stage, Blood Yellow has the same action, but combined with highs and lows of a range of emotions.
3. Lover at Last: I don't think this book needs any explanation. The long-awaited story of Qhuay - Qhuinn and Blaylock. You can find our review of Lover at Last HERE.
Ah, Lover At Last - YES!!! I loved this book soooo much. She totally exceeded all of my expectations on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in the follow and only a few for weeks left before school is out! ;)
