Souls Around the World Blog Hop

October...fall...candy corn and jack-o-lanterns, candy apples and popcorn balls, crisp leaves raked up in piles, pulling jackets out of the closet for the first time, these are just some of the things I think of when October rolls around. Of course, I also think of all the things that go bump in the night. I have always been a scared-y cat when it comes to horror. I could never read the oh-so-popular R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series growing up, and as an adult, you will not find me reading Stephen King. I've been known to leave a Halloween party when Freddy Kruger or Jason show up to play, and I still to this day refuse to sleep with closet doors open for fear that Chuckie will jump out and get me. Yes, I am the original scared-y cat.

That being said, I love, love, love the paranormal world. Vampires and weres, fae and witches, warlocks and demons, yes, yes, yes! When written brilliantly, these can be some of the sexiest beings in the world of fiction. That's right. I'm biased. I'm a paranormal romance/erotica whore. I admit it. But really, who can blame me? And the month of October is the best time to indulge in these fantasies, because this is when the line between the paranormal world and reality is most blurred. So take some time out this month for yourself, and indulge in your favorite fantasy!
