My Decadent Demon is a supernatural roller coaster. Cole, a bullheaded, stubborn male demon is not necessarily likeable in the beginning. He has his life to lead and his job to do, but beyond that, something is missing. Seraphina, a naïve, curious angel is quirky and interesting when we first meet her. She wants to follow her heart and dreams, but is an oracle in training and has certain responsibilities she must attend to before she worries about herself. And Sera’s own needs are deeper than even she realizes.

Seraphina has a vision, her first, and it involves a man who appears to be tied to her future and it becomes the driving force in her existence. She leaves behind her life and takes on the challenge of finding this man, even when life as she knows it could be changed forever. Sera, however, is stubborn and once she has her mind set on something, she doesn’t let go. Cole is her sole focus now and getting close to him is going to be harder than she thought, but something about her draws him in until he is hooked on the little angel. He finds her a challenge and sees her naïve nature as an attractive quality and a hard contrast to his inner demon.

The dance the two begin is a dangerous one and a challenge for both. She is overly curious and takes risks he finds crazy. At the same time, he is the very definition of dangerous and crazy, but he finds a side to himself when he is with her he’s never cared to know before. He falls for her and is determined to teach her the ways of the world. The sexual chemistry between the two of them is intense as well and part of the book that kept me reading. I wanted to see how Seraphina changed over time. I wanted to know how the relationship with Cole might alter who she is and vice versa because both are in a place they have never been before with another person.

The development of them as a couple is the best part of the book. The sex aside, they grow together and their personalities compliment each other. There are some laugh- out- loud moments and some very emotional interactions between the two I found very relatable. I also found the characters fun and their story captivating, but the shots of humor really did it for me. It is just the beginning of their story and well worth the read. I can’t wait to see what happens next in their lives.

Synopsis:
Seraphina Orielle, an angel of divine fire and light, was also an oracle of foresight. Considered adolescent among her peers, she had yet to master her gift of precognition when her first vision came to pass; a captivating male whose destiny was intimately intertwined with her own. Yet he was not of angelic design. In fact, he was very far from it. Tragically, by the time Sera discovered this pivotal detail, he had already attained ownership of her heart.
But not her ability to flee…

A hundred years later and Cole Asteroth does whatever the hell he wants. When he’s not busy, that is, with ‘dirty deeds, done dirt cheap’ for his master. Ornery and sarcastic, he gets his kicks wreaking havoc in the human realm. Oh, and making very un-angelic women beg for his touch. Life is good…
Until fate catches up with him.

A few weak moments, one too many innocent visitations and the two are entangled all over again. But things are much more complicated now. And Cole no longer possesses much in the way of faith and forgiveness.

As the estranged lovers struggle with what path to take, they quickly discover that destiny, too, is a reluctant second chance provider. As outside resistance and decadent captivity ensues, can their situation get any more exasperating?
